My husband and I are settled in the beautiful countryside of Louisville, Ohio.
Observing the nuances of light, shadow and color at the beginning of my day is also how I photograph homes, paying close attention to focus on the small details. Some photos are captured by squeezing into the corner of a room to showcase the area best, some require the head on shot for a bold statement, sometimes even showcasing the details of hardware on cabinets and doors will accent the decor, bringing it to a new level. Each photo captured reveals the next shot as I look through the view finder. Iā€™m particular that each inch I move my tripod ensures the furniture and room come alive and breath.

My passion for photographing homes and architecture developed over the years beginning in 2012 when I became a photo editor for a Real Estate photography company based in the Chicagolands . I joined Portraits of Home right after graduating from Hallmark Institute of Photography in Massachusetts. Learning how to edit photos of homes from behind the scenes, blending exposures together, removing camera reflections etc. fascinated me and I became an expert. As I listened to what the photographers wanted as a final image, I used my own creativity, and skill to help make the company final product better as the years went on. It is a great honor to continue working with this company. I train other photographers, while continuing to push my skill.
For almost a decade I have been a home photo specialist. I also enjoy taking portraits, weddings, events, and have worked with publishing companies. It has been a pleasure meeting so many wonderful people through my passion, photography!
